Rhinoplasty in Buenos Aires: planning your visit from abroad
Moina Doctors provide aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty in Buenos Aires. If you live outside Argentina, our team can help coordinate your preliminary assessment, requested tests, travel and follow-up.
1. Initial assessment
Tell us your country of residence and share clear front, profile, three-quarter and base-view photographs. Describe your aesthetic goals, breathing concerns, medical history and previous nasal surgery. This is preliminary guidance, not a final surgical assessment.
2. Before flying
When indicated, preoperative tests can often be completed in your home country and sent for review. Confirm dates with our assistant before booking non-refundable flights or accommodation.
3. In Buenos Aires
An in-person aesthetic and functional examination is usually scheduled at least one day before surgery. The procedure takes place at Sanatorio Finochietto, with same-day discharge when medically appropriate.
4. Recovery and return
We usually recommend staying in Buenos Aires for 10 to 14 days, depending on your procedure and recovery. Your surgeon confirms fitness to travel or fly individually.
Accommodation and follow-up
Recoleta or nearby neighborhoods can be convenient for access to our office and Sanatorio Finochietto. We do not endorse specific hotels. Arrange an accompanying adult after discharge according to medical instructions. After returning home, follow-up is commonly coordinated via photographs and WhatsApp with our assistant, with physician review, video calls or in-person checks when indicated. Urgent warning symptoms require local emergency care.
Why Moina Doctors?
Our team integrates plastic surgery and otolaryngology perspectives and has experience with more than 7,000 rhinoplasty procedures. Every indication, result and recovery is individual; we do not use digital simulation as a promise of outcome.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about traveling for rhinoplasty
Can I start the consultation from abroad?
Yes. Send clear photographs and relevant medical information for preliminary guidance. The definitive aesthetic and functional examination takes place in person.
Which airport should I use?
The most practical airport depends on your departure city, arrival schedule and accommodation. Include airport-to-hotel and hotel-to-clinic transfers when planning.
Do I need a visa?
Entry requirements depend on your nationality and personal circumstances. Check official Argentine immigration information and your airline before booking.
How long should I stay in Buenos Aires?
We usually recommend 10 to 14 days after surgery, with flexibility for the procedure and recovery. Your surgeon will assess when you are fit to fly.
Can I go sightseeing after surgery?
Rest and follow-up take priority. Avoid scheduling demanding physical activities or excursions immediately after surgery, and ask the team for individualized instructions.
Where should I stay?
Recoleta and nearby neighborhoods can be convenient for access to the clinic and Sanatorio Finochietto. We do not arrange or endorse hotels.
How does follow-up work once I return home?
Follow-up commonly uses photographs and WhatsApp coordinated by our assistant, with physician review, video calls or in-person appointments when indicated. Urgent symptoms need local emergency care.
